आज यानि 8 March 2021 को सम्पूर्ण विश्व में महिला दिवस मनाया जायेगा 2021 के लिए अंतराष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस की थीम " महिला नेतृत्व :कोविड-19 की दुनिया में एक समान भविष्य को प्राप्त करना।'' रखी गयी है। ऐसा कोरोना काल में सेवाएं देने वाली महिलाओं व लड़कियों के योगदान को रेखांकित करने के लिए किया गया है।
यदि हम महिला योगदान की बात करें तो जहाँ उन्होंने एक तरफ कोरोना काल में फ्रंट वारियर के रूप में अपनी सेवाएं दी है, फिर वो साइंटिस्ट्स ,डॉक्टर्स, पुलिस, केयरगिवर्स या सफाई कर्मचारी हो वहीं इस समय विश्व भर में महिलाओं के खिलाफ घरेलु हिंसा के मामलों में 15 से 30 प्रतिशत की वृद्धी दर्ज की गई। यह बात कुछ उस जलते दीए के समान है जिसके तले अँधेरा होता है |
जहाँ हम महिलाओं व पुरुषों की समानता की बात करतें है वहां बहुत चौंकाने वाले आकड़ें सामने आते हैं। UN secretary general की रिपोर्ट अनुसार विश्व भर के मात्र 22 देशों की सरकार में महिला मुखिया के तोर पर काम कर रही है और मात्र 24.9 प्रतिशत राष्ट्रीय पार्लियामेंटेरियन महिलाएं हैं। यदि महिलाओ की नेतृत्व के क्षेत्र में यही वृद्धि दर रही तो पुरुषों के समान आने में ओर 130 साल लग जाएंगे।
इस महामारी में दोनों की समानता से भागीदारी होने के बावजूद भी वैश्विक स्तर पर महिलाओं को पुरुषो की तुलना में 11 प्रतिशत कम वेतन दिया गया।
जहाँ अमेरिका को अपनी पहली महिला उप-राष्ट्रपति देने में इतना लम्बा इंतज़ार करना पड़ा वहीँ भारत मे कई वर्षों पूर्व श्रीमती इंदिरा गाँधी ,सरोजिनी नायडू, सुषमा स्वराज ,प्रतिभा देवी सिंह पाटिल जैसी अद्भुत क्षमता वाली नेता ने देश का नेतृत्व किया हे।
यदि हम साधारण महिला की बात करें तो उनकी स्थिति दयनीय है, 21वी सदी में भी उन्हें छोटे-छोटे आधारभूत अधिकारों के लिए लड़ते देखा जा सकता हैं। आज़ाद देश में भी वे आज़ाद नहीं है|उन्हें हमेशा से दया और त्याग की मूर्ति समझा जाता है|उनके आस-पास एक अदृश्य जाल बुन दिया गया है जिसे वे चाह कर भी तोड़ नहीं पाती व् खुद को असहाय महसूस करती हैं|समाज ने महिलाओ के लिए एक साँचा बना लिया है जिसे वे प्रत्येक नारी के लिए आदर्श मानते हैं और उनसे उम्मीद की जाती हैं की वो उस सांचे में ही ढले| महिलाओ को अपनी ऐसी छवि को तोडना होगा और अपना वास्तविक स्वरुप दिखाना होगा जिसमे महिलाये आत्मविश्वास से भरपूर ,आत्मनिर्भर ,गलत के खिलाफ आवाज उठाने वाली है |
महिलाओं के जीवन में कई चुनौतियां है उनके प्रति लोगो की धारणा है की महिला एक Ideal माँ , पत्नी , बेटी , बहु होनी चाहिए|समाज और लोगो को महिलाओं को वैसे ही स्वीकार करना चाहिए जैसी वे है |
सभी विषमताओं विपरीत परिस्थितिओं और भेदभाव के बावजूद भी आज महिलायें समाज में अपनी स्थिति को सुधारने के लिए प्रतिपल प्रयत्नशील है |और हम उम्मीद करते है की आने वाले समय में महिलाओं और लड़कियों के लिए एक बेहतर समाज , बेहतर देश और एक बेहतर दुनिया हो |

Today i.e. 8 March 2021, Women's Day will be celebrated all over the world. The theme of International Women's Day for 2021 is "Women Leadership: Achieving a Equal Future in the World of Kovid-19". Has been done to highlight the contribution of women and girls. At the same time, there is an increase of 15 to 30 percent in cases of domestic violence against women around the world. This is somewhat like a burning lamp under which darkness occurs.
Where we talk about the equality of women and men, there are very startling figures. According to the report of the UN secretary general, the government of only 22 countries around the world is working on the head of women and only 24.9 percent are national women. If it is the same rate of growth in the field of leadership of women, then it will take 130 years to come like men.

Where America had to wait so long to give its first woman Vice President, many years ago in India, leaders with amazing ability like Mrs. Indira Gandhi, Sarojini Naidu, Sushma Swaraj, Pratibha Devi Singh Patil have led the country.
If we talk about ordinary women then their situation is pathetic, even in the 21st century, they can be seen fighting for small fundamental rights. They are not free even in free country. He has always been regarded as an idol of mercy and sacrifice. An invisible net has been woven around them, which she cannot even break even if she wants to and feels helpless. The society has created a mold for women, which they consider ideal for every woman and they are expected to be cast in that mold. Women have to break their image and show their true nature in which women are full of confidence, self-reliant, to raise voice against wrong.
There are many challenges in the lives of women. People believe that an ideal mother, wife, daughter, daughter-in-law should be there. Society and people should accept women as they are.
In spite of all the odds, discrimination and discrimination, today women are trying every time to improve their position in the society. And we hope to have a better society, better country and a better world for women and girls in the coming times.
